Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) offers a variety of ICT based services to the general public through its network which is scattered all over the country.

The ICT – related services available through postal network includes:-

  • Internet access to the public (Internet Cafés)
  • National, Regional and International Money Transfer
  • International Tracking of mail items

INTERNET SERVICES

This is a service that is being offered by Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) at almost all our Regional Posts Offices. In the Internet Cafés customers can browse through the World Wide Web or communicate through email and chatting.

No computer skills are needed! Trained staff members are available to assist you in receiving, typing and sending email messages to and from Tanzania, Africa or anywhere in the world!

You can track your mail through our website please click here. You can also enquire to get the information of your mail item sent through us by calling our help desk and get the required assistance.

COUNTER AUTOMATION

Tanzania Posts Corporation has started the implementation of Counter Automation Project, after getting software called Postglobal. This is an application designed specifically to automated services offered by TPC. It contains five modules namely:

  • Point of Sale
  • Electronic Money Transfer
  • Postgiro Management
  • Domestic Track and Trace
  • Management information system (MIS)

The implementation of counter automation started on April 2008 and the implementation process continues. It has already been done in 85 offices, these includes Regional, district and some branch offices.
